Scoring Method
All three elements of your application, Personal Commitment Statement, Letter of Recommendation and Transcripts, will each be worth a third of your overall score.

Heritage Soar Scholarship awards provide up to 18 credits per semester until recipients earn their first bachelor's degree. The award is guaranteed for a maximum of 36 credits per academic year for up to five academic years provided the student maintains a minimum GPA of 3.25.

Applications received by December 1, 2016 at 5:00 pm will be considered for the early award. Finalists will be notified by January 2, 2017.  Applicants not considered as a finalist during this early period will be moved on to the next round. The final deadline for a Soar Scholarship is February 1, 2017.  Finalists will be notified by March 1, 2017.  Finalists for both the early and the standard application period will be invited to campus for an in-person interview with Heritage University faculty and staff as a closing round to determine the Soar Scholarship winners. A minimum of 6 scholarships will be awarded by Heritage, 3 in the early round and 3 from the entire pool received. Should the applicant pool merit additional awards, more scholarships may be given.
